Q: Can my OFT upgrade my ECU to newer software versions?

The OFT cannot perform software updates at this time. The reason for this is to prevent our valued customer from flashing incorrect programs onto their ECU; ultimately breaking them.
If you'd like to have your software updated, please do the following:
Uninstall the OFT (unmarry)
Use OFM to ERASE the OFT
Have a dealership update the software.
After the software is updated by your dealership, you can re-install the OFT. It will recognize the new software calibration ID, and should auto-generate new tune files for it.
