10002 | Protocol file corrupted. | Allow your OFT to fully update via OpenFlash Manager |
10003 | An error occurred while reading data from your ECU. Check cable connections, ignition switch position,|then try again. | The OFT did not receive the proper communication messages while trying to read the ECU. The ECU may be locked by another tuning system. |
10004 | ECU number mismatch! ECU write denied! | The OFT is not installed onto the car you’re attempting to program a tune file onto. |
10005 | Tuning file corrupt! | Contact OpenFlash Performance via email. |
10006 | Impossible to find message number. | Contact OpenFlash Performance via email. |
10007 | OFT(x) out of sync. ECU write denied! | Contact OpenFlash Performance via email. |
10008 | Configuration file missing or corrupted. Please update OFT(x). | Contact OpenFlash Performance via email. |
10009 | Vehicle list missing. Please update OFT(x). | Allow your OFT to fully update via OpenFlash Manager |
10010 | An error occurred while writing the ECU. Check cable connections, ignition switch position, then try again. | The OFT may have lost communication with your ECU while writing a tune file. CHeck battery voltage, inspect the OBD connector at the vehicle and OFT, and check your ignition switch position; then try again. |
10011 | ECU communication error. Check cable connections, ignition switch position, and try again. | The OFT did not receive the proper communication messages while trying to interact with the ECU. The ECU may be locked by another tuning system, or damaged. Check the ignition switch position. Ensure the OBD cable connections are secure/seated at the vehicle and OFT. Check for proper battery voltage = 12.6v or more. Try again. |
10012 | Language file missing. Please update OFT(x) using OpenFlash Manager. | Contact OpenFlash Performance via email. |

10021 | Update this OFT(x)'s|template file. | Download an updated template file from support.openflashtablet.com, and load it to your OFT using OpenFlash Manager. |
12016 | Screen re-calibration failed. Try again, using a stylus. | You must use a pointed stylus (not a stylus with a blunt/squishy tip). Try using a slightly dull pencil. Press in the exact center of the green squares as they appear. |
12017 | OFT(x) out of date. Please update your device with OpenFlash Manager. | Allow your OFT to fully update via OpenFlash Manager |
